Target Media Partners Announces Auto Guide Acquisition

LOS ANGELES, July 1, 2008 – Target Media Partners announced today its acquisition of the South Florida and Wisconsin Auto Guide magazines and the website autoguide.com from Consumer Source, Inc., a subsidiary of PRIMEDIA Inc. (NYSE: PRM). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“This transaction is representative of Target Media Partners’ continued strategy of offering the best niche classified products and services available in the marketplace,” said Target Media Partners CEO, Mark Schiffmacher. “The Auto Guide magazines and autoguide.com complement our current portfolio exceptionally well and will give us an immediate national online presence in the automotive advertising sector.”

The Auto Guide publications are full color, free circulation, classified, dealer-oriented used car photo books. The South Florida Auto Guide addresses the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale metropolitan markets with one weekly edition. The Wisconsin Auto Guides include two weekly editions, the Milwaukee Auto Guide and the Madison Auto Guide.

Autoguide.com is a national searchable automotive site that provides consumers with the opportunity to shop for and compare automobiles online by brand, body style and lifestyle. It is one of the fastest growing auto sites in the U.S. and serves as a complete resource for buying used vehicles, while offering sellers maximum exposure.
